Welcome to Songbird Psychiatric and Recovery Services, where evidence-based, person-centered care is our priority. We offer shared decision-making modes of treatment for substance use disorders and mental health conditions, including counseling, case management, medication management, and recovery treatment encompassing both abstinence-based and harm reduction approaches. Certified as a community mental health services provider by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
Our mission is to facilitate stronger, resilient, and healthier individuals, families, and communities through compassionate, comprehensive care. With a vision rooted in harm reduction and person-centered principles, we strive to improve mental health outcomes while providing an LGBTQ affirming and stigma-free environment.

Meet Kelly Brill, N.P.
Mental Health Specialist
Kelly has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years, working in critical care, cardiac care, hospice, and care management. Graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2022 with a Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing. ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Kelly is a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses. Proud member of the LQBTQIA+ community and Safe Zone Trained.
Meet Christine King, N.P.
Mental Health Specialist
Christy has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years, working in critical care, cardiac care, hospice, and long term care. She graduated from Chamberlain University in 2023 with a Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing and is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Christy mental health experience includes inpatient psychiatry, crisis management, and substance use disorders.
Meet Nicole Naso, LPCC
Nicole Naso, LPCC, is a licensed professional clinical counselor with a Master’s in Community Counseling from John Carroll University. She brings over 17 years of experience providing therapy to clients ages 14 and up, including adults. Nicole specializes in helping families navigate adolescent challenges and strengthen parent–teen relationships. She also has extensive expertise in co‑dependency, addiction, and a broad range of mental health concerns, informed by her work in outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and community‑based support. Her trauma‑informed, client‑centered approach emphasizes safety, empowerment, and healing through evidence‑based modalities, guided by empathy, cultural humility, and a belief in each client’s capacity for growth and resilience.
